Th​e Scoop, about "The Pelican Poop"
We are Daniel and Susan Moshier, owners of "The Pelican Poop". We have had 40+ years experience in the rental industry, but, have to admit that this is our first, "Poop". Why is it called The Pelican Poop, you ask? The nautical term "Poop", or poop deck, comes from the French word, "la poupe", which means observe, to view and to see. Captains of the ship would stand on the stern (poop) deck to oversee the sails, ocean and their crew. Pelicans seem to do this from their perch. Plus, it's fun, whimsical and memorable.
Totally remodeled in 2017 this home is in near pristine condition. Includes 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, sleeping a total of 9 people very comfortably. A heated pool, 10 thousand pound boat lift and a bait freezer. Screened upper deck, patio deck with Bar, bar refrigerator, Pool Toys, Yard Games, Dart Card and board games, movies, kayak, bicycles, TV and WIFI, and, oh yes, lots of sun and fishing going on. If you don't have a good time here,then somethings wrong. :>)
There is a King bed in the master, a Queen Bed in the guest room, a sleeper sofa and a twin roll away. The Twin beds in the downstairs bedroom can also be converted to a King size bed.
Rates vary according to season. But we have Fall Months as low as $5400. Rates and Calendar here
This is a 28 Day Minimum Rental. We are in full Compliance with the Monroe County Code and Tax Enforcement. So, share the fun with your family or friends. Sorry, we do not rent by the week or day.

The Pelican Poop is fully supplied with bed linen and bath towels, several beach towels are poolside, along with some floats and noodles, and a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ/ bait freezer and a bar refrigerator. Ping Pong, Balls and Ladder, Corn Hole, Dart Board, Puzzles, Board Games, Dice and Cards, and a HUGE selection of DVD Movies (for those rainy days). USB Ports for charging and WIFI Internet.
